Contribution of Cytologia to <i>Drosophila</i> Studies across the World

Since its inception in 1929, Cytologia has made several significant contributions to the international community, including supporting various discoveries Drosophila. These experiments were not only successful D. melanogaster but also other species, such as virilis and ananassae. This is because two founding Fly Rooms Japan, one at Kyoto University Tokyo Metropolitan University, included these species their evaluations. Many Drosophila have been analyzed cytological, genetic, evolutionary levels by researchers from across world with many of findings subsequently discussed papers.
